Favourite brands in the Showroom?

The Bordello tableware is gorgeous, full of zesty, vibrant colour. In the deli, I love the Diforti range, the Hazelnut/Chocolate Cannoli are addictive!

Favourite fabric brand?

Both Thibaut and Christopher Farr, the prints and colour combinations always feel fresh and exciting.

What should people expect to find when visiting Amanda Hanley by Design?

Plenty of colour, pattern and quirky items - the Showroom is a visual feast!

What's your go to playlist in the Showroom?

At the moment, I'm really enjoying listening to Teddy Swims or Loyle Carner.

Favourite AHBD candle scent?

No. 1 is lovely, notes of sweet vanilla and spices, it's a real winter warmer scent.

What's your home style?

Organic, layered and eclectic. I like my home to feel warm and inviting, with playful and unexpected touches of colour and print, particularly a bold stripe!

Where's your favourite place to go for dinner, lunch or coffee?‍

The Back Lane Tavern in Woodstock is lovely, super relaxed, but the tapas menu is always innovative.

What are we most likely to find you doing outside of Amanda Hanley By Design?‍

I am currently loving body balance classes, which involves a mixture of Tai-chi, Yoga and Pilates, challenging the mind and body.

What are you enjoying doing at the moment?

On the weekends, I love exploring second-hand stores, trying to find treasures I can style or repurpose. 

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

I would probably live out my Mamma Mia dream on a Greek island. Mainly for the Mediterranean sunshine and cuisine, but also to experience a more mindful, slow pace lifestyle. 

Favourite time of year?‍

I feel a real sense of optimism in Spring. The warmer weather, greenery and longer days.

Any pets?‍

I have a gorgeous little Cavachon named Delilah, a spirited ShiChi named Albert and a fluffy Tortoiseshell, Lily.
