It’s great fun to use more than one fabric on upholstery. Sometimes, when I am selecting fabrics that complement one another on an item of furniture, it can be quite daunting. But I have to think to myself: go bold, pick striking patterns and colours, and make a strong statement.
This philosophy not only inspires clients but also brings out the best in any space, as seen in our Burford showroom.

Scheme One Highlights: Bold and Luxurious
A standout piece in this scheme is the William Yeoward Mariah Indigo rug, a hand-tufted wool rug featuring a double-dyed freehand-like pattern. I adore this rug, it’s one of my all-time favourites.
Paired with the Christopher Farr Cloth La Jungle in dark indigo, inspired by French artist Raoul Dufy, this scheme showcases bold floral designs and geometric patterns – it’s a stunning design, I would wear this as a dress.
